3- If Clause Type 1 (Adverbial Clause içinde)
Bu tip cümlelerde should kullanımı ihtimali azaltır. Eylemin olma ihtimali çok zayıftır. If ile beraber kullanıldığı gibi “If” olmadan devrik yapıyla kullanımı da vardır.

Olur da arabayla gelirse (gelmez ya), halka açık otoparka park edebilir.
DİKKAT!
IF Clause cümleciklerinde should varsa ve cümle devrik ise fiil seçimine dikkat edilmelidir.

(Yukarıdaki cümlede normal şartlarda he öznesi ile “is” yardımcı fiili kullanılır. Böyle bir durumda başta should olduğu unutulmamalıdır.)
4- Noun Clauses (İsim Cümlecikleri)
Eğer ana cümlede bulunan herhangi bir zorunluluk, önem ve tavsiye bildiren sıfat “Present” zamanlarla verilmişse ardından gelen “that clause” genellikle “should” ile kullanılır.

Noun Clause cümleciklerinde should varsa Subjunctive yapısıyla kısaltma yapılabilir.

(Yukarıdaki cümlede normal şartlarda the meeting öznesi ile begin fiili “-s” takısı almadan yan yana gelemez. Böyle bir durumda arada should olduğu unutulmamalıdır.)
5- Present Simple & Past Simple in Noun Clauses
“Natural, absurd, awful” gibi bazı sıfatlardan sonra gelen “that” cümleciklerinde “should” “Present Simple”, “should have V3” ise “Past Simple” yerine kullanılabilir.

6- Reported Speech
ÖNEMLİ: “Reported Speech” aktarma cümlelerinde “should” aynı kalır. Bu yüzden “that clause”lar dikkatli bir şekilde incelenmelidir.
“I should call my mother”
She said (that) she should call her mother.

Bu anlamı “Should” ile verdiğimiz gibi “Ought to” ile de verebiliriz.
