kalıbı bir işin yardım almadan yapıldığını anlatmak için kullanılır.

4 – Possessive Adjective‘den sonra gelen fiiller isimleşmek zorunda olduğundan “-ing” alırlar.

5 – Possessive Adjective‘den sonra gelen sıfat “Superlative” bildiriyorsa “the” kullanılmaz.

6 – Possessive Adjective ile aynı anlamı isimler ve nesnelerde ” ‘s ” veya “of” yapılarıyla verebiliriz.

Possessive Pronouns
Kullanılan Durumlar
1 – Possessive Adjective + Object ile verilen anlamı tek başına verirler. Bu yüzden kendilerinden sonra isim gelmez.
Your company‘s health insurance costs are going down, but yours (your health insurance costs) are going up.
2- “a, some, many” yapılarının ardından nesne “of” dan önceyse Possessive Pronoun kullanılır. Sonraysa Possessive Adjective kullanılır.
Some students of mine failed the semester.
Some of my students failed the semester.
3 – “a, some, many” gibi ifadelerden sonra nesne gelmesi durumunda cümlenin anlamına göre Possessive Pronoun veya Object Pronoun kullanılabilir.

4 – Possessive Pronoun içinde isim de barındırdığı için kendisinden sonra gelen fiil barındırdığı ismin tekil/çoğul olmasına göre kullanılır.
