2- Proscription (Yasaklama)
Olumsuz cümle kullanımında yasak koyanın cümleyi kuran kişi olma zorunluluğu yoktur.
You mustn’t take photos of the exhibits in the museum.
Visitors mustn’t touch and feed the animals in the zoo.
3- Present Deduction (Günümüzle İlgili Çıkarım)
Elde var olan kanıtlara göre doğruluğu kesine yakın olumlu bir çıkarım yaparken kullanılır. Aynı kesinlikte olumsuz çıkarım yapılırken “mustn’t” kullanılmaz “can’t” kullanılır.
This must be my dog because he has a scar on his back.

1 – Obligation (Zorunluluk)
Cümleyi kuran tarafından ve diğer faktörlerden kaynaklanan zorunlulukları bildirir.
Documentarists have to follow their subject for months in order to elicit a genuine and heartfelt statement in front of a camera.
2 – Unnecessity (Gereksizlik)
“Mustn’t” gibi yasak bildirmez, eylemi yapmanın gereksiz olduğunu bildirir. “Zorunda değil…” biçiminde çevrilir.
The audience don’t have to sit still and keep quiet throughout the play, unlike typical plays.
The actors don’t have to act since they are the actual people in the village.

ile aynı anlamdadır.

In this situation, you needn’t necessarily follow the conventional approach; innovative solutions are encouraged.
